Old North State Sutlery

This simple haversack is made out of white canvas duck, pillow ticking. It has a button closer and the buttonhole is sewn by hand.

These bags made from checked or plaid cotton Homespun fabric. I first started making these bags out of different colors to help identify the contents of my rations without opening them. With different color bags you should have and easier time when you are trying to find the bag you want in your haversack. There are countless of uses for these bags.

This scarf is made out of soft cotton flannel. The approximate size is 6 X 53 inches. There are several plaids available for the scarf. This is great at the cold events to keep your neck warm.

The Workman's cap is a homemade period cap worn by workman or farmers. It is a simple cap that can be worn in a number of different ways. This cap is great for keeping your ears warm in a winter event. The outside of the cap is made out of jean wool for warmth while the inside of the cap is made from cotton jean for comfort. This cap dates back several hounded years.

A friend of ours makes these mirrors. We think they look good enough for us to put them in our store. The mirror is inside a wood case that swings open and close. The wood is held in place by a copper rivet.

This is a small purse that has a small fold over top. It is made out of tapestry and is lined with homespun. The purse is held close by a bone button and a hand sewn button hole.

These socks are knitted out of 100% cotton yarn. They are copied from the Army Socks in Echoes of Glory "UNION".

UTILITY BAG

This utility bag is made out of blue or red striped pillow ticking. There are many uses for this bag. The bags measure about 13 inches wide and 15 inches wide.

DELUXE HOUSE WIFE SEWING KIT

Our Deluxe Housewife Sewing Kit is constructed out of tapestry or ticking and is trimmed with tape. It folds up in to thirds and ties shut. The inside of the Housewife has 3 pockets and the center pocket has a flap that has a hand sewn buttonhole. This Housewife Sewing Kit not only looks good but it has everything you need to sew with. The scissors actually cut. The kit contains 6 colors of thread with 3 sewing needles. There are 10 patches and 9 assorted buttons.
